Tomeka Prioleau is a research associate with the Hazardous Substance Research Center/ S&SW at Louisiana State University. She works primarily with the Technical Outreach Services to Communities (TOSC) program and provides assistance to the Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) program for communities located in EPA Region 6. She has research experience in environmental soil science and has worked on topics related to the transformation of DDT, DDD and DDE in contaminated sediments.
She holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from Alabama A&M University, and an M.S. degree in Crop & Soil Sciences with a specialization in Environmental Toxicology from Michigan State University.
