Nedra Korevec is a research associate with the Hazardous Substance Research Center/ S&SW at Louisiana State University. She currently the Special Projects Coordinator. She has helped the Center organize the NATO Advanced Study Institute in Prague 2001, the NSF Advanced Study Institute in Rio de Janeiro, 2002, and the 25th Anniversary Celebration of EPA-Sponsored Hazardous Substance Research at LSU 2003. She is now working on the NATO Advanced Research Workshop in Prague, tentatively scheduled for October 2004.

She holds a B.A. degree in Anthropology/Archaeology from Louisiana State University 1994, and a M.A. degree in Anthropology from Louisiana State University 1997. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Geography at Lousiana State University.
