If your community is interested in cleanup or redevelopment of a brownfield, you may be eligible for free assistance from the Technical Assistance to Brownfields Community (TAB) program at the HSRC's South & Southwest Center. Technical assistance was previously available for communities with hazardous substance cleanup problems through the Technical Outreach Services for Communities (TOSC) program. Service under this program is no longer available due to the completion of the EPA contract supporting this activity. GTRI outreach specialists, however, can assist communities on a contract basis.
Please have the following information available when you contact us:
- Your name, address, and phone number
- Name and location of the site for which you are requesting assistance
- Names and phone numbers of any EPA or state officials involved (if available)
We encourage you to work with others in your community to coordinate your requests for TAB asssitance. If you have questions or difficulties in establishing a work group, please call for assistance.
