Mark Hodges develops and manages web sites for the South & Southwest HSRC and the national five-centers HSRC program. He is also managing editor of the national HSRC program's Centerpoint newsletter. Hodges is a senior research associate in the Communications and Training Technology Branch of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) in Atlanta, Georgia.

His professional interests include environmental communication, risk communication, public policy, multimedia effectiveness in training, workers safety and health training, and the role of the Internet in technology transfer. He managed a project resulting in a CD-ROM based curriculum on "Nutrition and Menu Management" for the Georgia Department of Education. More recently, he led a project to develop and assess a model for web-based course delivery in OSHA safety and health training under sponsorship of the Center to Protect Workers Rights. He is now a course director in an OSHA-sponsored project to create a comprehensive safety and health training curriculum for disaster site workers at scenes of weapons of mass destruction attacks.

Hodges holds an M.S. from Georgia Tech in Technology and Science Policy.
