Dr. David Constant is a professor of civil and environmental engineering at the Louisiana State University and manager of field programs for the center. He also serves as the center's quality assurance/quality control officer. He has been an active participant in the management of the center-led demonstration of innovative capping technologies on the Anacostia River. His research interests include fate and transport of hazardous substances in subsurface environments, water resources management, in-situ waste site remediation technology, and natural/phytoremediation. He holds a Ph.D. from Louisiana State University in chemical engineering.
