Summary of TAB assistance

S&SW TAB gave a presentation on the federal brownfields program and the TAB Program to community stakeholder during a Community Focus Group Meeting in Clearwater in July 1999. Clearwater was awarded an EPA Brownfield Pilot, and the workshop was designed to provide an introductory understanding of the brownfield process and develop skills for a Community Impact Statement development exercise.

Representatives from Florida A&M University, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the City of Clearwater, and the Center for Public Environment Oversight also participated.
