Ann Carpenter is a research associate with the Technical Outreach Services for Communities (TOSC) and Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) Communities programs. In addition to her TOSC and TAB work, her research at Georgia Tech involves sustainable urban development, brownfield redevelopment, and geographic information systems (GIS).

Ms. Carpenter has a master's degree in city and regional planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
