Summary of Assistance

The TAB Program has met with representatives of the Brownfield Institute in Anniston, Alabama to discuss collaborating on education and technical assistance efforts for Georgia and Alabama brownfield communities. The Brownfield Institute was formed with the mission of educating, engaging, and empowering residents and businesses in disadvantaged communities in Alabama and Georgia to proactively and positively address environmental contamination issues while reusing brownfields as a catalyst for community restoration. TAB and the Brownfield Institute will work together in order to build the capacity of communities addressing the successful reuse brownfield sites.
