Summary of TOSC/TAB interaction with community
The TOSC program is assisting the community organization in determining the potential environmental and health impacts related to a landfill located outside of Barnwell in Allendale County. TOSC is reviewing over 4,000 pages of documents pertaining to materials disposed of in the landfill, landfill operations, and status of the landfill. The community is considering pushing for the landfill to be included on the federal Superfund list.
