How to Get Assistance

If your community is affected by hazardous waste (e.g., Superfund and brownfield sites) and located in one of the states in EPA regions 4 or 6, you may be eligible for free assistance by TOSC and TAB professionals at the HSRC's South & Southwest Center.

Please have the following information available when you contact us:

  • Your name, address, and phone number
  • Name and location of the site for which you are requesting assistance
  • Names and phone numbers of any EPA or state officials involved (if available)

We encourage you to work with others in your community to coordinate your requests. If you have questions or difficulties in establishing a work group, please call for assistance. The TOSC Overview section of this web site has more information on the application process, areas of assistance, and eligibility requirements

When you are ready to begin discussions, call the TOSC/TAB toll free number at 1-888-683-5963 or contact:
